March 28, 2008 - The Hard Rock Hotel Windows

If you haven't already seen it, check out the windows at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, on Michigan Avenue (Michigan and Wabash). The Stitches Fashion Program, with assistance from the City of Chicago, Macy's, and visual merchandiser Meghan Lorenz, has designed a window display featuring pieces from local, Chicago designers.

The Hard Rock Hotel supports emerging Chicago fashion, and this is one way (of many) that they are proving this.

The "first round" of set-up is pictured below. We will be updating the window in the next fews days to come, so make sure to stop by again soon.

Until then, here are the names of the designers featured in the windows. Click on the designer's name to find out where to get more information on her as well as where to purchase the piece.

The names of the designers. From the left to right when looking at the windows from the outside:

In the individual window (with one mannequin): Deep-V dress by Nora Marcella, Khaki cape by Soledad Designs

In the big/main window from left to right:

2. Stripped top and white shorts by Michelle Tan
3. Black dress by Abigail Glaum-Lathbury
